Geoffrey is very grateful of all the individuals that he has worked with, mentored, and his teachers, coaches, mentors; for they have all helped him in numerous ways. My mentors in the rehabilitation field stressed to remain humble and open minded to learn, because all bodies react uniquely in specific ways. Amie Mitchell, BS - I love my I job! I love teaching people how to find the fun in exercise. I know how to do this because I had to find it for myself. I have personally lost 86 pounds and have kept it off for over 12 years. I found the fun in exercise by doing fun activities I liked and more importantly, surrounding myself with other people who would support me and my goals. Along with my new body came my new frame of mind and my new mantra, “I really can do anything I want!” Six years later I became I mom. My son is now 5 and is my best exercise companion. He rides his bike while I run at his side. I earned my degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Physiology and have been a Personal Trainer for over 7 years. I strive to make a positive difference in peoples’ lives and I want to help them find their fun in exercise. Amie teaches the Los Alamitos boot camp.
